Programs
Employment Solutions for Immigrant Youth offers an 8 week, classroom-based program with intake dates throughout the year, or one-on-one career coaching. Eligible participants are:
- Immigrants or refugees who are looking for work
- Not currently in school
- Assessed at Canadian Language Benchmark Test (CLBT) levels of 5 or higher
- Between the ages of 18 and 30
- Self-supporting, on Adjustment Assistance or Employment and Income Assistance.
If you are interested in applying for the program and you meet the eligibility requirements, please call or stop by the office for more information. All candidates must visit our office to complete a registration form and meet with the intake worker.
Please note that the office is closed during the lunch hour, from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.
Information Sessions
All program registrants will be invited to attend an Information Session. Information sessions are provided throughout the year. Below is a schedule of proposed dates for the 2009/2010 program year.
